I love summer, the smell of summer, the smell of barbecues at sunset, and of course barbecue sauce. Barbecued anything has got to be one of my favorite foods but barbecued pulled pork sandwiches….mmmmm…
Everyone likes their BBQ sauce a certain way. Today I’m sharing our favorite homemade bbq sauce recipe. It’s sweet, tangy, and it’s incredibly easy to make, you only need one pot!
Melt butter in a 4-qt. saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onions; cook until soft, 4–6 minutes.
Stir in cocoa, ketchup, sugar, coffee, honey, vinegar, cocoa, Worcestershire, mustard, chili powder, salt, pepper, coriander, and cayenne; cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 3 minutes.
Perfect for ribs, some wings, or….
